4. Use of Apwide Apps

When an organization uses an Apwide App, Apwide may process personal data on behalf of that organization.

Details about the data processed by each App, processing purposes, hosting, retention and related information are available in our Apwide Product Processing Information.

Apwide may separately process information for its own purposes, such as managing licenses and subscriptions, providing support, maintaining customer relationships and complying with legal obligations. Those activities are covered by this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell personal data.

We may share personal data where necessary with service providers and other third parties supporting our operations, including providers of hosting, infrastructure, communications, analytics, support and business services. We may also disclose personal data to authorized partners, professional advisers or public authorities where necessary or required by law.

An up-to-date list of subprocessors used in connection with our Apps, including their location and processing role, is available in our Trust Center.

Depending on the services involved, personal data may be processed outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as recognized contractual protections.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to meet applicable contractual, legal, accounting, security and compliance requirements.

Retention periods depend on the nature of the data and the processing activity.

Product-specific retention information is available in our Apwide Product Processing Information where applicable.
